It looks like Suri Cruise is following in her mother's footsteps by venturing into design. At the tender age of seven, the daughter of Katie Holmes has reportedly signed a £1.5million deal to launch her new fashion range. The stylish youngster, who regularly tops best dressed celebrity child lists, will apparently launch her brand in shops across North America next year, according to The Sun. "Suri is only seven but she is incredibly interested in clothes," a source told the newspaper. "She has been through a very difficult year and adapted amazingly to her new life in New York, including the upheaval of starting normal school.
"This is a nice hobby for her," they continued. "It's certainly not going to take over her life. Most girls dream of being able to make their own clothes, this just means her drawings will now become a reality. It'll be interesting to see how it pans out, there's nothing around quite like it." Apparently Suri's mum Katie helped get the project on its feet, along with her business partner and friend Jeanne Yang. The design duo also have their own collection called Holmes & Yang. Katie is quite clearly devoted to her daughter Suri , and the actress recently revealed that she is "open" to the idea of having more children in the future. Speaking candidly in a recent interview, the actress - who split from husband Tom Cruise in June 2012 - said she would consider expanding her family one day. "I don't know. I'm open to it," the star told Allure magazine as she spoke about her plans for the future, which interestingly might also include a complete career change. There were numerous reports in the media at the moment that Katie is considering a move into law, something she didn't dismiss when asked. "Well my brother and father are attorneys, and - we'll see. I like the practical thinking of attorneys."
