It seems actress Gwyneth Paltrow has changed her opinion of the Met Gala, which she recently branded "crowded" and "unfun". Writing on her hit lifestyle blog Goop, People magazine's Most Beautiful Woman came back for a second opinion. "The Met Ball, at NYC's Metropolitan Museum of Art, is always the year's most elaborate display of incredible fashion and this year was no different," Gwyneth says, before going on to describe the creation of the stunning fuchsia gown she wore at the event.

"The theme was 'Punk: Chaos to Couture' and when the house of Valentino's Pierpaolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri asked me to join them, I was thrilled to see what they would create with my right fashion hand, Elizabeth Saltzman." Gwyneth's comments are a far cry from her initial reaction to the event, which is hosted by Vogue's Anna Wintour and is to fashion what the Oscars are to film. USA Today quoted Gwyneth as saying, "I'm never going again. It was so unfun. It was boiling. It was too crowded. I did not enjoy it at all." The Iron Man 3 actress then met up with Australian radio host Jackie O in New York to clarify that her thoughts on the punk-themed gala were indeed less than flattering. "Do you want me to be honest? It sucked," she said. "It seems like the best thing in the world, you always think this is going to be so glamorous and amazing, and you'll see all these people –  you get there, it's so hot, it's so crowded, everyone is pushing you.

"This year it was so intense, it wasn't fun. Kanye West was playing, he was furious, he threw his microphone down, it was all drama." Gwyneth, who has two children with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, said the highlight of the night was meeting Gangnam Style singer Psy, who she said her youngsters are "obsessed with".  "So we went up and Chris was like, 'Hello, I'm from a band called Coldplay'… We said, 'We're sorry to bother you, but can we have a picture for our children. And we sent it to the kids."
