Alexandra Burke looked lovely as she stepped out in a green leopard print dress in New York recently. But more astute fashion fans will have recognised the Topshop number, as it had already been spotted on Kimberley Walsh. The Girls Aloud star had previously worn the blue version of the popular creation for an outing in London.
Alexandra did, however, choose different accessories to the girl band member. She paired the £35 dress with red strappy sandals and a pair of long necklaces and topped the look off with dark purple lipstick and blonde cascading curls, while Kimberley teamed hers with a leather jacket, black court heels and sunglasses. Former X Factor star Alexandra was heading out to see Broadway play The Trip To Bountiful by Joseph L. Brim. The London-born star, who won the hit TV series in 2008, is in the Big Apple working on new material. She will also perform at a Chaka Khan tribute show. The concert will celebrate the singer's induction in to the Apollo Legends Hall of Fame at the Apollo Theatre.
Several artists will take to the stage during the evening to pay tribute to the legend, including Mary J. Blige and Erikah Badu. "Doing a fitting for the Chaka tribute show… Oh gosh! I can't wait for this show!!!" she tweeted. Alexandra also delighted her fans by sharing a picture of herself posing with chat show legend Oprah Winfrey.
"Had the pleasure of meeting @Oprah last night… Thank you," she captioned the snap, which shows the singer posing with Oprah and American football star Bobby Wagner.
