The Saturdays dazzle at star-studded bash

June 5, 2013

Girlband The Saturdays stunned as they stepped out for an awards ceremony in London on Tuesday night. Mollie King, Una Healy, Vanessa White and Frankie Sandford dazzled as they stepped onto the red carpet, despite being without fifth member and new mum Rochelle, who was likely to have been at home with her little one. Frankie was showing off her blossoming baby bump in a black plunging dress with a sheer leg panel. She was also officially debuting her new hair – the brunette beauty visited the hairdressers earlier this week for extensions.

Una, meanwhile, put her post-pregnancy physique on display in a purple sequin, floor-sweeping gown that ensured she shone bright at the star-studded Glamour awards.

To finish off the high-octane glamorous look, Una had swept her flame-red locks to the side. It was Mollie's birthday, and she made sure to celebrate in style, turning up in a red satin gown with a flowing train and sheer panels that showed off her back and her side. Mollie was treated to a birthday surprise during the ceremony, when the room sang Happy Birthday to her. "I can’t believe the whole room sang Happy Birthday to me on stage! Wahhhh! I’m so starstruck right now, @victoriabeckham and @kylieminogue!," she wrote on Twitter.

The girls scooped the prize for Best Band and Mollie described it as the perfect birthday present. "A HUGE thank you to @GlamourMagUK, I can’t believe we’ve won Best Band for the 2nd time! Just incredible! And the perfect birthday pressie!," she tweeted.

Other attendees at the swanky bash included Cara Delevingne and her best friend Rita Ora.Model Cara presented Rita with the Best Solo Artist awards, and the girls then posed up with Joan Collins and Ellie Goulding backstage. But while Cara continued the party after the ceremony, Rita made her way to new boyfriend Calvin Harris' house. Victoria Beckham also attended, bringing eldest son Brooklyn as her date. The stylish pair enjoyed an evening out together on Tuesday as Victoria was crowned 'Woman of the Decade' at the star-studded event. A credit to both his parents, Brooklyn, 14, posed confidently next to his mum dressed smartly in a suit and tie. Proud Victoria, 39, meanwhile, opted for loose black trousers and a top by Belgian designer Margiela, accessorising with a clutch from her own brand.

Cheered on by her son, her mum Jackie, and her sister Louise, who were all in the crowd, Victoria saw her status as an international designer cemented as she received her 'Woman of the Decade' award from Christopher Bailey. "I love to celebrate women. Girl power! It's great when women support women. We need more women out there supporting women," she said as she accepted her trophy. "Thank you Brooklyn, my date tonight, who's the most handsome man in the room. That's really p****d off (model) David Gandy.
