Taylor Swift was stunning as she stepped out at the Country Music Awards on Wednesday night. The popstar was wearing a cream strapless Elie Saab Spring 2013 silk dress embellished with gold sequins and featuring a rise-and-fall hemline. Jimmy Choo 'Flaunt' boots and red lipstick completed the look. Taking up her seat alongside brother Austin, Taylor, who is the former flame of One Direction member Harry Styles, seemed to have a ball at the awards ceremony, despite leaving empty-handed. She even took to the stage for an energetic performance, wowing the crowd with her moves in a racy red and black number.
She was joined by Nicole Kidman and her husband Keith Urban, who were also attending the ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee. Nicole kept it simple in a Dior drop-waist LBD with a flounced hem. She accessorised with white snakeskin Dior pumps. Singer Carrie Underwood won Best Video at the event for Blown Away, rounding off the evening with an emotional tribute to Oklahoma tornado victims. "The good Lord has been very good to me — well, to all of us in this room — for a very long time," Carrie said after the win.
The pint-sized blonde looked lovely in aqua crepe shorts and a matching patterned tulle jacket by Georges Chakra. A Swarovski clutch added sparkle to the outfit. The evening was hosted by Kristen Bell, who wore an embroidered leather cocktail dress by Zuhair Murad. She was showing off an enviable physique, just two months after giving birth to baby daughter Lincoln. Miranda Lambert was also in attendance, sporting a short black mini dress cinched at the waist with a lace-up corset. She took home female video of the year for Mama's Broken Heart and CMT performance video of the year for Over You, recorded during the 2012 "CMT Artist of the Year" broadcast. "I just got a kiss from Lenny Kravitz," she said as she took the stage for her second trophy. "That was an award in itself."
