All eyes were Jennifer Lopez as she stepped out for the 2013 amFAR Inspiration Gala held at the Plaza Hotel on Thursday night in New York City. The singer, 43, was stunning in a midnight blue sequin dress by Tom Ford that hugged her famous curves.
She topped off the showstopping look with a black snakeskin clutch, Harry Winston jewellery and a scraped-back ponytail that ensured her dress took centre stage. "Change can happen when we come together. Looking forward to tonight's #amfARInspiration NY Gala to benefit #HIV #AIDS research!!!" Jennifer tweeted ahead of the event. The 43-year-old actress was accompanied to the gala by designer Kenneth Cole, who is on the board of directors of the organization. The pair posed up a storm on the red carpet together and even captured some snaps of the pair on his mobile phone.
They were joined by Hollywood actress Uma Thurman, who was pretty in a hot pink number. The star was also keen on making sure all eyes were on her gorgeous dress, and had pulled her hair back into a tight bun. She kept her jewellery to a minimum with a diamante bracelet and drop diamond earrings. Uma ate her dinner next to Carl Rae Jepsen at the charity event, and the duo gladly posed for pictures together. Meanwhile, Victoria's Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel was showing off her supermodel physique in a floor-sweeping gown black gown with a trailing skirt. She had shunned her usual girly image for the dramatic number, pairing it with heavy eyeliner and tousled platinum blonde locks.
She posed with designer Olivier Theyskens on the red carpet. Leigh Lezark, Dree Hemingway and Alec Baldwin's daughter Ireland also attended the event. The model, 17, wore an off-the-shoulder black number teamed with arm cuffs and sparkly earrings.
