Princess Madeleine of Sweden and her new husband Chris O'Neill returned from their idyllic honeymoon in the Seychelles to join Valentino on the front row of his autumn/winter 2013-2014 show at Paris Fashion Week. The Princess opted to wear a sexy black dress with lace detail by Valentino, who was the designer behind her bridal gown in which she wowed the world on her big day in June. She complimented the sensual look with pearl drop earrings, a black clutch and black sandals while her husband was handsome in a navy suit and matching tie, with a white handkerchief showing from his top pocket.
It's no surprise that Madeleine wanted to stop off in Paris on the way home from her blissful honeymoon in the Seychelles to catch a glimpse of the maestro's latest collection.
The newlyweds showed off their sun kissed glow and looked relaxed after the romantic break in the idyllic islands of the Indian Ocean. Princess Victoria's sister smiled happily at the highly-esteemed show – also attended by Anna Wintour, Olivia Palermo and Nicky Hilton – as she sat between her American love and Italian designer Valentino Garavani.
When talking about working with Princess Madeleine, Valentino said it had been "just so easy. She is a very lovely girl. She is modern, full of energy and enthusiasm, and she is so beautiful! It has been a pleasure and an honour. "Following the breathtaking nuptials, the Italian designer released a sketch of Madeleine's beautiful wedding gown via the Swedish royal family's official website.
Once they had been delighted by the designs on the runway, the loved-up couple headed to a glamorous dinner hosted by the designer of the day held at the City of Light's luxury Plaza hotel.
