Andy Murray and girlfriend Kim Sears are rumoured to be new faces of Burberry.Head of the British fashion house Christopher Bailey is reportedly keen to see the Wimbledon champion and his partner appear in adverts for the heritage brand.

The pair have already hinted at a possible collaboration. Andy and Kim looked striking when they both wore Burberry to the Wimbledon Champion's Ball last Sunday. Andy wore a classic black tuxedo, complete with bow tie, and Kim wore a £3,5000 black floor length Burberry Prorsum dress with an embellished top.The couple, who have been dating for eight years, were also seen at the Burberry fashion show at London Fashion Week in September 2012. They had coveted front row seats next to US Vogue editor Anna Wintour.If they are signed up by the British fashion brand, they will join the likes of model couple Sienna Miller and her boyfriend Tom Sturridge. Other Burberry model pairings have included fellow Brits Eddie Redmayne and Cara Delevingne and Rosie Huntinton-Whiteley with Sam Riley.

Burberry said, "We never comment on campaigns until they are announced. "Andy's manager, Simon Fuller, is reportedly in talks with Burberry to see Andy and his girlfriend front Burberry's new campaign. As manager to the Beckham family, Simon helped Romeo Beckham, 10, secure a modelling contract with Burberry.Since he appeared in the spring/summer ad campaign alongside model-of-the-moment Cara Delevingne, the British brand has seen their sales soar by 13%.Kim has become something of a fashion icon as she cheered her boyfriend on from the stands at Wimbledon, wearing a variety of stylish outfits. Her great taste in fashion and flawless hair have even seen her compared to Kate Middleton.A fan of British brands, Kim has been spotted in the Wimbledon stands carrying a Mulberry tote and a Burberry trench coat to keep her dry when it threatened to rain. She wore a mint green lace Victoria Beckham dress as she cheered Andy on to victory in the finals.
