Fearne Cotton has admitted that she has regrets about "one of two" of her tattoos. "There may be one or two tattoos I regret now that I have the wisdom to know not to put certain things on your body," said the TV presenter, who in total has 16 body inkings on various parts of her body. "But it's all beautiful art.
Mark Mahoney is like a Picasso. He does Johnny Depp and me."
Fearne was referring to LA-based tattoo artist Mark, who is known to have inked a series of A-listers including David Beckham, Angelina Jolie and Britney Spears.
The blonde beauty, who gave birth to her son Rex in February, tweeted a picture of herself and Mark in his Los Angeles studio in May. "So glad I got to spend the afternoon with one of my favourite people mr Mark Mahoney #legend," she wrote, before revealing that she decided not to get an inking while she was still breastfeeding.
Fearne has spoken in the past about her love of tattoos, saying on The Jonathan Ross Show, "Seriously, if I wasn't on TV, I'd have tattoos all over my whole body. I would go mental. I'm addicted to tattoos. "She added, "I love the look, the process, the feeling of, 'Yes! I didn't pass out, I've just achieved something.
"But she normally gets them in places that can be easily hidden. "I can't do Children In Need with a naked woman on my arm, can I?" she once said.
Fearne's tattoos include a clover leaf on her arm, fern leaves climbing her torso, and an intricate pattern on her right foot that features three stars surrounded by swirling vines.
