Victoria's fashion label earns Beckham brand £100,000 per day

October 11, 2013

Victoria Beckham's fashion label earns the Beckham brand a staggering £100,000 a day, according to documents released from Companies House. Accounts for her and husband David's empire shows that turnover for the company that handles Victoria's fashion line was more than £15.4 million for 2012 – double the figure that was released for 2011.

The former Spice Girl has become a well-respected figure in the fashion industry, staging eagerly anticipated catwalk shows in London, Paris and New York and dressing celebrities including Anne Hathaway, Beyonce, Cameron Diaz and Gwyneth Paltrow. Her husband David, meanwhile, is Britain's richest sports star. Together, the couple are estimated to have made a joint fortune of £190million last year, earning a profit of £35.1million. David earned £14.1million from his image rights company, while ambassadorial roles for Sky and the Chinese Super League earned him £20million and £50million respectively.

Experts predicted that the football star's earnings would rise after he hung up his boots earlier this year, leaving him more time for endorsements and advertising campaigns.

Recently, he was spotted climbing a London rooftop for his new H&M bodywear campaign, one in a series of shoots for the Swedish retailer.
