Fashion has a new, undisputed queen. Victoria Beckham received another style accolade this week when she was named a winner at the Bambi Awards.

She cut a striking figure on the red carpet, showcasing her slender figure in a long black dress that featured a plunging neckline.

The 39-year-old completed her glamorous look with smokey eye makeup and large emerald drop earrings, her long hair swept over one shoulder.

Victoria jetted into Germany earlier on Thursday, documenting her journey via a private plane on her Twitter feed.

She was there to accept a Bambi award in the fashion category for her eponymous clothing line.

Making the night all the more special, Victoria was given the award by iconic Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld.

After appearing at the Bambis, the delighted mum-of-four took to Twitter.

"amazing night @bambi x vb," she wrote. "Thank u @KarlLagerfeld for your beautiful words. This award means so much to me x vb.

"Victoria was in the mood to celebrate after her win, and she posted a number of pictures from her evening, including one of her jumping on her hotel bed clutching her award.

Another showed her celebrating in the back of her limousine with hairdresser Ken Paves and her makeup artist Sarah Lucero.

It's little wonder Victoria was in such high spirits. Her success at the Bambi Awards comes less than two weeks after that she received the Special Contribution to British Fashion trophy at the Harpers Bazaar Women of the Year awards.

Other winners at the 2013 Bambis included Miley Cyrus, named in the International Pop category, Robbie Williams for 'Entertainment' and Bill and Melinda Gates for their philanthropic work.

The Bambi Awards have been held annually since 1948. They are awarded to people with 'vision and creativity who affected and inspired the German public that year', and are presented in categories including film, fashion and sport.
