Busy Kate Middleton looked radiant as she stepped out for her second engagement of the week on Wednesday morning. The Duchess of Cambridge wore a navy Max Mara jacket and showed off her toned legs in a short matching skirt by Orla Kiely – the same designer who created the brown 'Birdie' print dress that she was sporting on Tuesday.
The new mum unintentionally had a Marilyn Monroe moment when a gust of wind blew her skirt up as she accepted flowers from a child.
She accessorised with blue suede gloves, a small clutch bags and suede high heels. Her hair looked lovely in Kate's signature half-up, half-down 'do.
Kate was attending an event entitled Resilience and Emotional Strength in Schools Forum, hosted by the charity Place2Be. The royal has been a patron of the charity since April of this year.
It was a solo engagement for the Duchess, who was accompanied by her husband during her visit to the crime prevention charity Only Connect on Tuesday morning.
There, she met head teachers to discuss issues such as cyber bulling and increasing emotional strength in young students.
