He combined the two to create Victoria's tiara, which is made from 18-carat gold, set with large brilliant-cut diamonds and suspended diamond drops. He called it 'East of Paris'.Victoria commissioned the tiara for her wedding but it was then kept by Slim and he is now selling it as part of Bonhams' auction of fine jewellery in New Bond Street, London.

Experts have estimated that the piece, which was exhibited at the Victoria and Albert Museum in their 100 Tiaras, Past and Present show, will sell for between £18,000 and £25,000.

At the lavish ceremony the duo's 4-month-old son Brooklyn took the role of ring bearer while David's Manchester United team-mate Gary Neville was the best man.

Slim is a well-known jewellery designer and has collaborated with high-profile names including Chanel, Versace and John Galliano. He has also designed pieces for Sir Mick Jagger and Diana, Princess of Wales.
