Kanye had collaborated with the artist once before, on artwork for his 2010 album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
The previous day, Kim had taken to Instagram to thank her designer friends for their gifts to her baby daughter North West. "Thank you so much Stella for these adorable clothes for North," wrote Kim, alongside a picture of three cute little outfits. The photo also showed a note from the British designer with the words “Dear North. It’s Stella time!”

North may not be able to walk yet, but she’s already the owner of some stylish footwear. Italian designer Giuseppe Zanotti sent a pair of white fringe trainers and black jewelled shoes that seem to have been custom-made for the little girl.“Thank you so much Giuseppe for the amazing shoes you made for North!” Kim wrote on Instagram. “WE LOVE YOU.”Shoe designer Charlotte Olympia, whose adult Kitty shoes sell for £425, sent a tiny pair to North with the note “Dear North, A little something to help start your shoe collection!” Hermes Paris sent a baby blanket and pink cashmere booties, which Kim described as a “sweet gift”.Fashionista Kim has said how much she appreciates the presents she receives. “I’m going to cherish all of those amazing clothes that the designers sent us,” she said.
