Victoria Beckham has cancelled her second show at New York Fashion Week, much to the disappointment of fans. The Harlow-born designer was scheduled to unveil her contemporary line Victoria, Victoria Beckham on Monday, but pulled out as her team are still working on the creative around the range.
The second collection is usually presented to press and buyers the day after the mainline offering — which Victoria revealed on Sunday — but the pieces will not be ready for another couple of weeks.
Victoria's first collection was a resounding success. Her autumn winter range embodied modern, feminine and sophisticated pieces with a daring edge. The mother-of-four was supported by her football legend husband David Beckham and the couple's brood — Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and baby Harper.
The adorable toddler sat on her father's lap sporting a tasteful all-grey outfit and a super cute top knot. "I'd love to say David chose her outfit, but I laid it all out the night before," Victoria said backstage. She also addressed rumours that the family were moving to Miami following the news that David and a group of investors would own an MLS team in the South Florida region. "The children are at school in London," she said. "That's definitely our home."
The former Spice Girl is not the only designer who has had to cancel shows this season. L'Wren Scott called off her presentation — set to take place this Sunday during London Fashion Week — due to production delays, WWD reports. The designer will instead showcase her autumn winter pieces via social media.
Rachel Zoe also cancelled her New York show in order to take care of her newborn son Kauis Jagger.
