Celebrity fashion gallery: Fendi's monogrammed bags

February 14, 2014

A host of A-listers have been spotted toting Fendi's Anna Selleria monogrammed bags.

Former Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker  was one of the first celebrities to champion the personalised bag, stepping out in New York sporting a brown version emblazoned with 'SJP' in pink font.

Model of the moment Cara Delevingne is also a fan and is often spotted toting her black bag with white 'Cara' lettering.

Her best friend Rita Ora also owns one of the exclusive bags, as do fellow stars Reese Witherspoon, Sienna Miller, Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Jessica Biel, who owns the red and white checked version.

Kate Bosworth is often seen out and about in Hollywood doing her grocery shopping with her 'Kate' tote.

The intricately woven leather bag range comes in several different shapes, including Fendi's signature feminine Adele top-handle bag and the large, boxy Anna tote style. It can also be made to order in the iconic Peekaboo and Baguette styles.

Adele Fendi created the Selleria Intrecciato bags in the 1940s. She was trying to change the rigid, structured nature of accessories and instead introduce soft and versatile creations.

The bags come in three two-tone colourways – red and white, mushroom and caramel and black and brown.

You can order the bag with your initials or name in any colour and up to four digits long. The letters are woven into the body of the bag, another reason they are so expensive and exclusive.

Each bag comes in a precious box with a special letter signed by Fendi's head of accessories, Silvia Venturini Fendi.
