Victoria had shunned her usual black attire for a spring-inspired look of white top and pastel blue wide-leg trousers.

She was accompanied by her husband David, who wore grey jeans and a black leather biker jacket. Later on in the day, David was spotted taking sons Brooklyn and Romeo to watch West Ham United play David's former team Manchester United in a football match.

Victoria's store will open on Mayfair's Dover Street. Currently, it is being built and is covered in scaffolding.

The former Spice Girl has an online store and her labels are stocked in luxury boutiques around the world, but this will be her first standalone store.

It will stock her main collection, her sister range Victoria Victoria Beckham, as well as accessories and denim.

Talking to Women's Wear Daily after news of the new store broke, Victoria said, "I think the time is now because I know my customer.

"It will be the first time that the people will really be able to see the brand through my eyes. "The interior of the 7000 square foot space will be designed by famous architect Farshid Moussavi.

Victoria recently offered up some career advice to young women. She recommended getting a broad perspective on your field of work."

I always say the best way to advance your career opportunities is to try to get as much experience as you can in the field you want to enter," said Victoria.

The mother-of-four is always back and forth between America and London, and she recently revealed that she was at her happiest when living in the United States. "It was much more accepting for a woman to have a career, as well as a man. And I loved it", she admitted.

The busy designer spoke to ELLE magazine and advised H2O was the key to remaining energetic at all times. "Everyone is tired [at fashion shows] but full of energy as you are running on adrenaline. I always say to drink as much water as you possibly can. Keeping hydrated is key."
