Naomi Campbell diplomatically kept quiet today when asked about the Vogue cover featuring Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, although the British supermodel’s expression told a different story.
Speaking live on Australia’s The Morning Show, Naomi leant back in her chair and briefly paused before simply saying: "I do not want to comment."

When asked why, the Face judge burst into laughter. The show’s hosts, Larry Emdur and Kylie Gilles, pressed her for an answer and the notoriously demanding model replied: "Because I’m a fashion model and I've been working for 28 years and when you get a Vogue cover, it's a build in your career, a stepping stone to achieve that."
The 43-year-old model then paused again before repeating herself: "I’m a fashion model so what more can I say?"
Host Kylie continued with her questioning, asking Naomi if she believed "Kim and Kanye haven't earned the right to be on the cover of Vogue."
"Those are your words, I’m being politically correct," Naomi quickly said.
Speaking of Vogue Editor Anna Wintour’s decision to allow Kim and Kanye on the cover, Naomi added: "That’s Anna Wintour’s choice to put them on the cover of her magazine, who is to question that?"
Naomi rose to fame in the ‘90s as one of the Big Five, which included Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, Claudia Schiffer and Linda Evangelista. At the height of their popularity, the five were regulars on the catwalks and the cover of all editions of Vogue.

Last week Naomi let it slip that the Big Five, plus Kate Moss and Stephanie Seymour, were in the process of reuniting for a secret project.
Talking about what defined the group of Supermodels, Naomi said, "I think it was the time and era, the designer. We had Gianni Versace, Azzedine Alaia, Marc Jacobs, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, they all used us on the runway at the same time."
