Brooklyn Beckham has made his modelling debut. The son of David and Victoria Beckham appears on the cover of Man About Town magazine.

He bears more than a passing resemblance to his football legend father, who has several high-profile modelling campaigns under his belt and was recently dubbed 'the underwear model of the century' by fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger.

The pictures were taken by photographer Alasdair McLellan, a 'friend of the family' who shot mum Victoria for UK Vogue and dad David for Fantastic Man. vIt looks like modelling runs in the family – Brooklyn's brother Romeo made his modelling debut in 2012 when he starred in a campaign for fashion house Burberry.

Brooklyn's hair is quiffed as he strikes a smouldering pose for the shots. On the cover, he wears a satin bomber jacket emblazoned with the word 'quiche'.

"David and Victoria are immensely proud of all their children, and they never push them into anything even though the boys get lots of offers," a source told MailOnline.

"Brooklyn is focused on his school and soccer, but of course he was so excited to get his first magazine cover shoot as he's interested in photography like his dad.

"The editor of Man About Town Ben Reardon said, "We are thrilled to feature Brooklyn Beckham in a world exclusive on the cover of the Spring/Summer 2014 issue of Man About Town.

"Brooklyn's first published editorial is a 20-page fashion story celebrating teenage style, which shows a warm and honest insight into the moment men begin to express themselves through clothes."
