Victoria Beckham has taken to Twitter to express her delight at Hollywood A-lister Zoe Saldana wearing one of her dresses in Cannes. "@zoesaldana looking STUNNING in Victoria Beckham at Cannes yesterday," she wrote alongside a picture of the actress.
A second tweet read: "#perfection @zoesaldana in Victoria Beckham, Cannes 2014 x VB." She included emoticons of a British flag, an American flag and a French flag in the tweet. Zoe was an angelic vision in the white, full-length gown that featured an intricate twisted ruffle detailing on the chest and a pleated skirt. Her slender waist was emphasized with a black and gold chain belt. She topped off the look with red lipstick, side-swept cascading curls and gold oversized drop earrings.
Zoe was attending the premiere of Nicole Kidman's new film Grace of Monaco. Australian actress Nicole sparkled in an Armani creation for the opening ceremony, opting for a strapless royal blue dress heavily embellished with gems and a lace train. The 46-year old actress swept her blonde locks into a chic side ponytail which showed off drop Harry Winston earrings . Alongside Nicole were her co-stars Tim Roth and Paz Vega, as well as French director Olivier Dahan.
Cannes is fitting for the film's premiere given that American starlet Grace , who Nicole portrays in the movie, met her future husband Prince Rainier at Cannes Film Festival back in 1955. Also at the star-studded opening ceremony was this year's festival jury, headed by Jane Campion - the only female director to have ever won the festival's prestigious Palme d'Or. Fellow jurorsSofia Coppola, Carole Bouquet, Leila Hatrami, Do-Yeon Jeon, Willem Dafoe,Gael Garcia Bernal, Zhangke Jia, and Nicolas Winding Refn were also all in attendance for opening night.
