Adriana Lima gets into World Cup spirit by celebrating Brazil

June 2, 2014

The FIFA World Cup begins in a week and a half and while her career is far from anything to do with football, Adriana Lima showed she couldn’t be more proud of the Beautiful Game’s big tournament heading to her home country. The Brazilian model proved just how proud she was of Brazil at the weekend as she attended a soccer-themed photocall for the Amazonia Beverages’ Urban Jungle Campaign Kickoff in New York. The 32-year-old arrived at the event in the Big Apple wearing a white dress and kept her hair tied to the side in a casual braid to pose with the product.

She was joined by Black Eyed Peas star apl.de.ap at the Dream Downtown venue, towering over him as they promoted the coconut water drink. The Filipino-American rapper – who also acts as mentor to bandmate will.i.am on The Voice Australia - played DJ at the Sunset Saturday rooftop bash to benefit St. Luke Foundation for Haiti. Adriana changed outfits to team up with some children dressed in her country’s kit. The slender Victoria’s Secret model has been practicing a special workout in the lead-up to June 12 when the World Cup begins in Rio and has shared snaps of her exercising on her social networking pages.
