Solange Knowles dazzled as she stepped out at the Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards on Monday night. It marked the singer's first red carpet appearance since the leak of video footage showing her and sister Beyoncé's husband Jay Z arguing in a hotel lift following the Met Ball. Proving she had put the incident behind her, the star beamed as she posed up a storm on the red carpet in a stunning silver gown from the Calvin Klein Collection.

Solange attended the annual prestigious awards ceremony with the American brand's Creative Director Francisco Costa. Also at the awards was Rachel Roy, the designer who is said to have been behind the Knowles/Carter family feud, but onlookers said the pair avoided each other. "Rachel looked uncomfortable," a source told US Weekly. "They obviously didn't want to run into Solange and Solange's people also tried to steer clear of them."
Olivia Palermo, the Olsen twins and Olivia Wilde were among the stars to attend the event
Rachel was accompanied by John Legend's wife Chrissy Teigen. Also at the event were twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who were resplendent in their signature black, oversized outfits. The ladies were among the big winners of the night, taking home the award for Accessories Designer of the Year for their label The Row. Elsewhere, Blake Lively shunned a full-length look in favour of a short and sweet Michael Kors dress, with her hair pushed back by a headband.

Most talked-about outfit of the night, however, came from Rihanna, who turned heads in an Adam Selman fishnet dress that was completely sheer. With just a nude thong to preserve her modesty, the songstress showed off her risk-taking fashion sense as she picked up the Fashion Icon Award. Victoria's Secret angel Alessandra Ambrosio was another famous face to grace the red carpet, wowing in a strapless, scarlet floor-length Nonoo gown which showed off her model physique to perfection.
