Elle Macpherson may have turned 50 this year, but the supermodel looks better than ever. The Australia-born beauty, who was nicknamed 'The Body' at the height of her career, gave fans a glimpse of the incredible physique that made her famous while holidaying in the Italian Riviera this week. Taking to Twitter, Elle posted a picture of herself on a boat sporting a grey, black and yellow bikini, with a black hoody casually draped over her holiday ensemble.

"Super greens… After super swim," she captioned the snap that showed off her washboard abs and slender pins. The mum-of-two recently opened up about hitting her milestone birthday. "If I look at pictures of when I was young, my smile wasn't even genuine, because it was so wracked with self-consciousness," she told Red magazine. "I don't even recognise myself in some of my younger pictures. My legs were up to my armpits with little, skinny arms, before I had the babies, but coming to New York and London [from Australia] I was such a fish out of water and I can see it in my pictures." She continued: "Now I look at my pictures and I think, 'Yeah, that's where I'm at. That's who I am.' I'm not 20, I'm 50. I'm comfortable."
