Olivia Palermo has created a shoe capsule collection for a collaboration with Italian designer brand Aquazzura.

The stylish 28-year-old revealed that she chose to collaborate with the brand for the six-piece collection due to her close friendship with the brand's creative director Edgardo Osorio.

"The Aquazzura aesthetic very much fits my own," she revealed. "So it made sense to collaborate with my good friend Edgardo. I think it is no secret that I love a good shoe, so I very much enjoyed creating a 'survival pack' for every occasion and women of all ages." Olivia, who first found fame when she starred in MTV's The City, has since proved herself as a fashion force to be reckoned with, often spotted on the front row and leaving fans coveting her sleek and fashionable ensembles. "Olivia and I have a very similar vision of shoes," said Edgardo. "She is a real style icon and has amazing knowledge about shoes and accessories." The collection features a variety of footwear including over-the-knee boots, suede boots, snake flats, laceup gladiator sandals, as well as bejewelled and metallic shoes. "Olivia has been our unofficial ambassador," Edgardo also told WWD. "She's always wearing the shoes. We're friends and we were talking more than a year ago about a small capsule that would be Olivia's eye and aesthetic but with the Aquazzura style."

The stunning socialite surprised fans in June when she revealed that she had married long-term boyfriend Johannes Huebl in an intimate civil ceremony. The fashionista opted for an uncoventional bridal look, looking beautiful in a three-piece number by wedding designer Carolina Herrera. Wearing a simple cream cashmere sweater with scattered ostrich feathers, Olivia also added white shorts which she combined with a full tulle skirt made of layers of satin and silk.
