Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and her husband Jean-Bernard celebrated their recent marriage with friends and family at a private party in London. The newlyweds, who tied the knot during a romantic beach ceremony on the island of Mustique earlier this month, coordinated at their wedding party in black, with Cheryl sporting a design by British couture duo Ralph & Russo. Cheryl is said to have expressed interest in the gown in January, requesting to wear it for Cannes Film Festival but it was unavailable.
Cheryl surprised fans with her black wedding gown
Speaking about creating the gown for the blushing bride, the pair told Vogue, "This gown was perfect for Cheryl on her special day. "The play on fabrics and simple silhouette is what really makes this gown so striking. The sumptuous, rich velvet and duchess silk bodice contrasted with a delicate, sheer silk-chiffon skirt brought an element of fun to the overall look whilst still being romantic. "Cheryl's choice of black for a wedding celebration was so unexpected but I love the fact that she surprised everyone."
