Sarah Jessica Parker once again proved her style icon status as she stepped out wearing one of Burberry's personalised ponchos on Wednesday. The 49-year-old let her highly coveted item take centre stage, pairing it with simple grey jeans and a striped top as she ran errands around New York.
The Sex and the City star, who recently put up her Greenwich Village townhouse for sale, finished off the ensemble with some brown peep toe strappy heels and a brown leather bag with chain detailed handles, as well as the A-list staple accessory, oversized sunglasses. The Burberry monogrammed capes were some of the most coveted pieces from the Autumn/Winter 2014 catwalks, with fashionistas Olivia Palermo and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley already spotted wearing them during the summer. Models Cara Delevingne and Suki Waterhouse, who walked the Burberry show in February, were the first to be spotted in the stylish ponchos, wearing them during London Fashion Week after the show had finished.

This season saw Suki walk the catwalk again, with Cara joining fellow supermodel Kate Moss on the front row. The pair recently teamed up to star in the iconic British fashion house's campaign for new fragrance My Burberry, forming the ultimate supermodel duo. "Kate has such a presence and she has a great sense of humour and style," said Cara about the shoot. "We had met a few times before we worked on the My Burberry shoot together so I knew we would have fun together and that the pictures would be great. I've always admired Kate."
