Elizabeth Hurley was the epitome of elegance as she stepped out to support Breast Cancer Awareness month on Monday night. The 49-year-old actress chose a fitted pink lace dress with long sleeves and nude detail for the event promoting Estée Lauder Companies' Hear Our Stories. Share Yours campaign, which urges women affected by breast cancer to share their stories.

Elizabeth added a hint of old Hollywood glamour to her outfit wearing her hair down in blow-dried loose waves, and some sparkling earrings and oversized ring. The rest of her accessories were kept fairly simple, with a pink envelope clutch bag and some nude peep toe heels. Actress Emma Thompson also made an appearance at the event held at Kensington Palace's Orangerie in an all-black ensemble, and was seen giving Elizabeth a big hug before the speeches began.

Elizabeth has been touring the USA and Canada with Estée Lauder Companies, for whom she has been a spokesperson since 1995, to promote the campaign as Breast Cancer Awareness month kicked off.
Raising awareness for breast cancer is a cause close to the Austin Power star's heart, as she tragically lost her grandmother to the disease in 1992. "At that time, there was no pink ribbon," she said on ITV's This Morning, talking about the importance of raising awareness.
"Nobody talked about breast cancer, magazines didn't have pink months, nobody was selling products to raise money for research."
