Pregnant Blake Lively continued to impress with her stylish maternity wear as she stepped out for a shopping trip in New York over the weekend. The mum-to-be looked chic on the outing, giving a masterclass in layering with a high-waisted floral skirt covering her baby bump and a black and white striped top underneath a denim patchwork jacket, black scarf and knee-high boots. Blake looked happy and laidback, waving to photographers as she strolled the streets of the Big Apple.
Later in the day, the blonde beauty changed into a pretty white dress to join Martha Stewart onstage for an one-on-one interview to talk about her lifestyle website Preserve. Speaking about her first encounter with Martha, Blake, who is married to fellow actor Ryan Reynolds, said: "When we met Martha, she was like, 'I'll ride motorcycles with you, Ryan.' "That's the only woman that can creep up on my man and I would be okay with it."
The pair's discussion was part of a day-long event that featured influential innovators and entrepreneurs at Martha's company headquarters in New York. Blake also opened up about her pregnancy. "There is something in the water because all of my friends are pregnant suddenly," she said. "I'm always the one in charge of planning the showers and bachelorette parties and they are not letting me off the hook because I'm pregnant."
