Jennifer Lawrence showed off her style credentials in not one, but two chic outfits for the premiere of her highly-anticipated new film The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1. Fans were eagerly waiting to see what the 24-year-old would wear, and she didn't disappoint. For the red carpet, Jennifer chose an elegant pale blue quilted dress from French fashion house Dior , which featured black floral detailing, and a waterfall hemline.
The Kentucky-born actress finished off her outfit with a pair of black strappy sandals, navy blue earrings and a statement ring. When it came to beauty, Jennifer chose a simple yet striking look. Opting for black eyeliner and long eyelashes, the Oscar-winner added pale eyeshadow and highlighter around her eyes for a dramatic look. Her cropped hair was styled in a chic Grecian-esque updo, and she finished off the look with white nail polish. For the afterparty, Jennifer changed into a bold cream dress with a plunging neckline and a thigh-high slit. Surprisingly the striking gown was not designed by Dior, for whom she is starring as the face of their Autumn/Winter campaign , but was a bespoke creation by Mugler.
The Hunger Games star, who plays Katniss Everdeen in the film, also changed her accessories, switching her black sandals for a pair of gold peep toe heels, and changed her ring. Jennifer also changed her hair, removing the headband to create a more edgy updo. Fellow cast member Elizabeth Banks also wowed on the red carpet in a billowing floor-length gown with mixed red and blue prints and embellishment, designed by Elie Saab.
