Charlotte Hawkins looked like she could be wearing an expensive top and trousers by Burberry on Thursday morning. Her highland check outfit had a distinctive designer edge - the sleeveless top was made in a tailored cut with a gathered ruffle detail at the waist and the matching trousers looked particularly sleek as they skimmed her trim frame. In actual fact, the whole look was by high street Mecca Zara. Part of the brand's current collection, the top retails at an affordable £39.99 and the trousers set her back £39.99. Luckily for us, both items are in-store and available online now. The gorgeous former Strictly Come Dancing contestant added simple, yet chic white high-heel shoes and left her jewellery at home, letting the checked getup do all the talking.
Check mate! Charlotte looked fab in her co-ord
Checked fashion is huge right now; and features all over the high street when the new season of autumn kicks in. The distinctive design is classic in style and never dates. Charlotte knows this, and she could also wear both items with other separates.

As always, her look at as put together by Debbie Harper - also known as 'Debbie Dresses' on Instagram. The talented stylist is the Head of Wardrobe at ITV and also is in charge of Susanna Reid’s look, and also Kate Garraway's on-screen style.
Charlotte stuns in HELLO! photoshoot
The mother-of-two has been wearing a variety of transitional pieces this week. One of our favourites has to be a geometric shirt dress made in navy blue and contrasting fuchsia that she wore on Wednesday's show.
The retro-style number had a distinctive 70s influence and we love the large-scale pattern and loose fit. Priced at £60 from Monsoon, it’s a great investment item as could be worn as an evening dress with jewellery and glam high heels, or paired with flats and tote bag for a polished, office look.
