Chrissy Teigen has made it no secret that she’s been waiting a long time to celebrate a new administration in office, so when it came to what she wore to Joe Biden’s inauguration celebration, the Cravings author did not come to play.
In a video on her Instagram Story, Chrissy could be seen sitting in a trailer with her kids Luna, 4, and Miles, 2, on inauguration night. As the model mom wished her husband John Legend well when he walked out to perform “Feeling Good” at the event, she flashed her leg, partially draped in a coat. And that’s when we saw it - sheer Gucci logo tights that we couldn’t stop staring at.

That was just the latest video Chrissy shared after “reporting live” all day from her hotel room (she even revealed a glimpse of J. Lo walking into the inauguration as she spotted her from her window). But, it was the photos she shared the following day that made us swoon even more.

Giving ‘why stop at just one inauguration week look’ energy, Chrissy shared a photo of herself revealing another chic ensemble Thursday as she kicked back with John in their hotel room. She rocked a tan coat, black leggings, and black boots complete with a suede black panel on the back. “I dunno Im captioned out just look at the photos,” she quipped in the caption.
No one could stop talking about those boots. “THOSE BOOTS,” one fan wrote. “Okay but can you talk to me about them boots,” another chimed in. “whatttt in the world are those amazing boots,” another person wrote. So far, neither Chrissy or her stylist, Monica Rose, have revealed the details on them, but we’re keeping a close watch.
Chrissy also shared a video of John playing the piano, saying playfully, “What song is this?” She went on to share another snap of herself lounging in John’s trailer in over-the-knee suede boots, a beige coat, and a matching dress underneath - the look she wore on Inauguration eve.

“Listening to tom hanks rehearse on a hot mic makes you understand why he is such a respected and loved working icon in this industry,” she wrote, adding, “Anyhoo I also love my boots.” So do we.
While the fashionista was enjoying the events of the day, she also shared a major accomplishment. She was one of less than 50 people Joe Biden started following on Twitter after he took over the @potus account Wednesday night. “OH MY GOD!!!,” Chrissy tweeted when she realized that he did. “I should prob never tweet again.”
Thankfully, she still is - and is still serving up all the style inspo too.
