Jenna Bush Hager is moving over to late night, and she is seriously bringing on the glamour!

The star abandoned her bright and preppy daytime outfit choices and was looking chic as ever during her latest appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
For her conversation with the fellow NBC host, the Reading with Jenna founder opted for a more sultry look perfect for late night television, and it really suited her.

Jenna showcased her stunning figure sporting a ruched, fitted gown by Norma Kamali in a lovely plum color, and perfectly accentuated her legs by pairing the figure-hugging dress with coordinating velvet pumps in a similar burgundy color.
She topped off the look, which was perfect for the incoming fall season, with layered necklaces, and had her hair styled in a voluminous ponytail with curled layers framing her face.
During her conversation with Jimmy, the two caught up about Jenna's recent return to the White House, where she spent many of her young adult years, and noted how sentimental it was to be able to take her two daughters, Mila and Poppy.
Jenna's outfit choice was so flattering
The mother-of-three gave late night viewers an exclusive glimpse into what the return was really like, and the hilarious interaction her daughters almost had with President Biden.

She said that both the President and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden greeted her family at their car, and revealed that it immediately made her daughters nervous about how to greet him.
The star said that the night out was "magical"
The bestselling author recalled her daughters exclaiming: "That's the President?! What do we do?!" and confessed that Mila even cheekily suggested: "What if I was like, 'Hey! I'm Mila! What's your name?!'" to which her mother maintained she would never come back.
In the end it appears the girls were on their best behavior, and Jenna said that the President even asked to take a picture of them in front of a portrait of their grandmother, Laura Bush.
