Carrie Underwood is preparing for an unforgettable night at the 2023 CMT Music Awards on April 2.
Not only will she be taking to the stage to perform at Austin, Texas' Moody Center, but she could also make history and break her own record if she scoops the prize for the two nominations she's up for.
Carrie is the title holder of the most CMT wins, with an impressive 25 already in her arsenal. Should she pick up the trophies for Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year on Sunday, she will have received an incredible 27 CMT Music Awards.

Just one year after winning American Idol in 2005, Carrie picked up the award for Female Video of the Year and Breakthrough Video of the Year. While there's no denying Carrie has always been beautiful, she sported a more pared-back look in 2006.
2007
Carrie's incredible talent was evident even back in 2007. Here she picked up two awards, Female Video of the Year and Video of the Year for her smash hit 'Before He Cheats'. Her makeup was subtle, with a wash of pastel across her lids and she rocked tighter curls with a figure-skimming dress.
2010
