Award season in Hollywood may be over, but it has only made way for country music's award season, which has been kicked off with the 2023 CMT Music Awards.
Though Gwen Stefani made her career in rock and pop, since marrying Blake Shelton, she has been fully initiated into the country music community, and stepped out for the star-studded night.
The star made her presence known in the country world with an appearance at the country music awards, not only attending in support of her hubby – who kicked off the show with a performance from his latest single, "No Body" – but for a performance from herself as well.
For the big night, Gwen opted for a business up top, party in the bottom kinda look, styling a suit with a mini skirt and funky boots.
The singer wore a sharp white button down layered under an oversized black blazer paired with a thin black tie, though she gave the look a twist by pairing it with an ultra tiny gold sequin mini skirt, and accessorized with fishnet tights and knee-high fur boots in black.

For make-up, she had her signature smokey-eye and red lip combo, surely courtesy of her beauty brand GXVE, and had her hair styled in a sleek slicked-back top bun.
Meanwhile, Blake nearly matched her, also wearing a black blazer, over a black vest and gray button down, paired with a black tie, classic blue jeans, and, of course, brown leather cowboy boots.

This year's 2023 CMT Music Awards are the first ever to be hosted in Texas, and the special night took place at the Moody Center on April 2nd. It was hosted by three-time co-hosts Kelsea Ballerini – who made her red carpet debut with new beau Chase Stokes – and Kane Brown.
The show first kicked off with a difficult tribute from Kelsea to the victims of the recent school shooting in Nashville – arguably the biggest hub for country music – at The Covenant School, which took the lives of three nine-year-olds and three adults in their 60s.
The awards show saw the likes of Carrie Underwood, Megan Thee Stallion, Dixie D'Amelio, LeAnn Rimes, Wynnona Judd, Madison Bailye, Travis Kelce and Alanis Morisette attend, with performances from Blake, Shania Twain, Carly Pierce, Keith Urban, Tyler Hubbard and more.
