Jessica Simpson, 42, left fans on the fence about her latest outfit as she posed up a storm in a black lycra dress.
The I Wanna Love You Forever singer modelled a Grecian-style one-shouldered gown with ruched material that snatched in at her waist and a floor-length skirt – much like the popular multiway bridesmaid dresses that suit every figure. She layered chunky necklaces and bracelets for an edgy twist and wore her long blonde hair in glamorous curls, adding a splash of color with her rainbow nails.
"Whatever colors you have in your mind, I’ll show them to you and you’ll see them shine. -Bob Dylan," Jessica wrote in the caption, and it wasn't long before her followers commented on the photos.
Praising her fashion choices, one wrote: "If you continued to bless us with fashion posts like this a few times a week, I’d look forward to it so much, my fashion icon foreva eva," and another added: "This dress is amazing!" Paris Hilton also joined in with the compliments, commenting: "Gorgeous."

However, not everyone loved her latest look, with one follower describing it as "a garbage bag" while a second gave their opinion on the color. "I don't care for the black shiny clothes on you. You would look better in softer colors. Or hippy clothes," they remarked.
Jessica – who shares Maxwell, 10, Ace, nine, and Birdie, four, with her husband Eric Johnson – previously opened up about her figure, revealing that she has gained and lost 100lbs during each of her three pregnancies and that it took "hard work, determination, self-love," to get to where she is now.
In 2022, she posted a picture of herself in a bikini and admitted: "I enjoyed a good proud cry today."
The businesswoman shared that she doesn't, "really look at it as, like, a weight loss journey, I think it's a journey of empowerment and self-love and acceptance".
She added: "It's one of those things [where] we all want what we can't have. We all want the body type that we aren't [and] that we can't change. So, it's about accepting and loving ourselves for who we are."
