Kate Moss is the sheer dress' most ardent champion – and her latest look is a case in point. What the see-through style owes to its unofficial poster girl, it could never repay. With the legendary supermodel as its insanely glamorous advocate, now more than even we're thinking about braving the cool September air, following in Kate's footsteps, and rocking a sheer dress.

The 48-year-old has been exceptionally busy recently – between showing her support for close friend British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful at his Claridge's book launch and promoting her own brand new beauty and wellness brand Cosmoss, it's been non-stop for the supermodel.
But luckily, an event on Tuesday night presented the opportunity for a fusion of work and play – Kate attended an intimate supper to celebrate Cosmoss' launch at Mayfair's The Twenty Two restaurant.
The soirée hosted some of her nearest and dearest, including It-girl Iris Law, Marchioness of Bath Emma Weymouth, and fashion designer Stella McCartney.

Guests were dressed to the nines, but Kate was undoubtedly the belle of the ball, sporting a maxi-length sheer floral print dress featuring mesh skirt panels and ultra-flattering puff-sleeves. The supermodel layered her see-through gown over a black lace bodysuit and teamed it with black strappy heeled sandals and a chic fold-over shoulder bag.
Her look was infused with overt femininity, exuding a certain botanical, earthy glamour which aligned perfectly with Cosmoss' vision.
The dress also harked back to one of her most iconic style moments – the totally sheer maxi piece that she wore in 1993 to the Look of the Year Contest. And, as eager fashion fans will notice, the piece certainly wouldn't have looked out of place in her Topshop collections from a few years ago which championed printed mesh.
What is the story behind Kate Moss' new brand Cosmoss?
Cosmoss describes itself as "self-care created for life's modern journeys – a celebration of every day exactly as it is, with all its imperfections."
The beauty and wellness label's product line includes herbal teas, CBD oil drops and perfume, all of which have been "meticulously crafted with wellbeing in mind; each ritual opens a door to balance, restoration, and love", according to Cosmoss.
