If you buy one thing in the January sales, make it a coat. Whether it's a winter coat (because the weatherman knows we still need those) or a spring jacket, there's plenty of incredible coat deals to shop from your favourite high street stores. A word of warning though: coats on sale sell quick, so I've done the leg work and scoured the shops for those still in stock.
Shop well and you can save a great chunk of money. Some stores even offer upwards of 50% off their bestselling coat styles, from the classic trench coats to timeless long coats and more trend-led designs too.

Want proof of how quickly coats on sale sell out? Some retailers like Marks & Spencer have sold out their own-brand sale coats. Another top tip of mine is to shop puffa coats and padded jackets in the sale too. Many of these are discounted heavily, and if yours is looking somewhat lacklustre, buy a new one now, and store away until next winter. You’ll thank yourself.
