Kris Jenner reveals Kim Kardashian copied her style

October 6, 2015

Kris Jenner has fought back after daughter Kim Kardashian told fans that the 59-year-old was often copying her look. The mother-of-six took to Instagram to reveal that Kim herself has copied Kris, wearing one of her designer gowns to an event at the White House a few years ago.

Kris Jenner revealed that Kim Kardashian wore her dress in 2010

The Keeping up with the Kardashians star shared a photo montage of herself wearing an elegant black-and-white strapless Valentino gown back in the 1980s, alongside a snap of Kim rocking the exact same dress for the White House Correspondents Dinner in 2010.

"Found this little gem in my archives," she captioned the image, which she shared with her 8.7million followers. "@kimkardashian posted some pics on her App of the looks I've stolen from her in the past (literally LOL!!) but had to share the Valentino gown that was my pride and joy back in the 80's !!

"She looks so beautiful and she wore it to the White House Correspondence dinner several years ago.#likemotherlikedaughter #memories @realmrvalentino #valentino @maisonvalentino #fashion #proudmama."

Kim recently took to her app claiming Kris was copying her style

Her post comes just a few days after Kim took to her own Instagram with a similar montage. Sharing a throwback photo of an edgy black ensemble she wore a few months ago when she was still rocking shoulder-length blonde hair, she also posted a photo of her mother in an almost identical ensemble.

"Like mother like daughter," Kim wrote to her 48.1m million followers. "I found tons of these pics & did a post on my app."

No doubt the world of high fashion has been on Kris' mind a lot in recent weeks, as the star has been hitting the front rows of major shows during Fashion Month, to support daughter Kendall Jenner as she walks the catwalks. The pair are currently at Paris Fashion Week, where Kendall turned heads for the world's biggest fashion houses from Balmain to Chanel.
