Well done ASOS! The online retailer has got it spot on with its new lingerie collection. The store announced the news of the nude underwear sets - which come in a range of skin tone shades - on its social media pages, and the reaction is off the charts. "We have new underwear, and we think it's fab," posted the shop on Twitter, with a promo shot of six models showing off the lingerie.
Shoppers heaped praise on the store for using women with a range of body shapes and skin tones in the advert. The photo shows a mix of comfy-looking separates and one-piece lingerie and is a breath of fresh air from standard size 8 models.

One Instagram follower wrote: "Real women real bodies love it." Another said: "I love the fact these women are totally realistically beautiful." On Twitter, one shopper wrote: "I've just caved in and bought some because the black version of the triangle bralette s one of the comfiest things I've ever worn!"

You can find the full range on the ASOS website and the prices are super affordable. Briefs start from as little as £4 and bras from £8. If the collection is as successful as Uniqlo's recent wire-free range, then get your orders in soon. With all this nude underwear, there's no reason for VPLs or visible bra straps ever again.

This isn't the first time that ASOS has been applauded for featuring real women in its advertising. In summer 2017, the retailer used women with visible stretch marks to model swimwear, and in March this year they chose plus size model Vivian Eyo-Ephraim to showcase one of their bikinis. Let's hope more fashion brands follow suit.
