Princess Sofia and her husband Prince Carl Philip of Sweden, Duke of Värmland, attended a society wedding this weekend and were, arguably, the best dressed wedding guests there. Looking absolutely divine in a long baby blue evening gown, Sofia channeled a Disney princess in the best possible way. The Swedish beauty decided on a By Malina dress and the floor-length frock features a boat neckline and a tapered in waist. Sofia teamed it with a chic little black coat – perfect for beating the chill – and a silver clutch bag.
So, who got married? Prince Konstantin of Bavaria tied the knot with Deniz Kaya in a romantic church ceremony in St Moritz, Switzerland. The ceremony was attended by glamorous guests, including Princess Maria Astrid of Liechtenstein, Ludvig Andersson, son of ABBA's Benny Andersson, and his wife Mimi Schoeller, model Marlies Pfeifhofer and actress and director Mafalda Millies. The bride, now officially titled Princess Deniz of Bavaria, wore a beautiful white dress featuring long sleeves and a white lace overlay. She kept her hair in a low bun and added a stunning long veil.
The dress is sold out but we've found this lookalike from Elizabeth and James for £280
It’s been a busy summer for the Swedish royals. Sofia’s two-year-old son, Prince Alexander, carried out his first royal duty in August, when he when he inaugurated his christening gift from the Province of Södermanland. Alexander, who is styled as His Royal Highness Prince Alexander of Sweden, Duke of Södermanland, went to visit the Nynäs nature reserve, and took part in a walkabout to meet well-wishers. The little prince looked delighted to sit in a horse and carriage in-between his doting parents, dressed in a striped shirt and chinos for the occasion.

Sofia has also been hard at work inspiring recent graduates of Sophiahemmet university in Stockholm. She holds the position of Honorary Chairperson of Sophiahemmet, and was elected to the position by King Carl of Sweden after she married his son. She arrived at the university’s graduation ceremony wearing a green dress by LK Bennett – the Duchess of Cambridge’s favourite brand.
