Prince George is returning to school on Thursday – and while there won't be any official photos of him climbing the school steps like last year, we do have all the details on his mega-cute school uniform, which he has been snapped in on a few occasions since starting school for the first time in 2017. George, 5, is starting year one this September, and will wear the same uniform as usual – which all children from reception to year two sport – featuring a navy and red jumper, smart navy shorts and a sweet pair of socks.
George is back at school this week!
George is a pupil at Thomas's Battersea, a private school. Stockist site Perry Uniform shows that students are also expected to have a red roll-neck polo top and a navy waterproof jacket as part of their uniform for the colder months, and there's a summer option of a light blue button-down shirt, too.

Depending on the weather, Kate and William may decide, like last year, to dress George in the summer option of ankle socks for his first day – since the Winter alternative is a knee-high version, which may be a little too snug (if we end up having that Indian Summer we've been promised, that is).
The prince's school wardrobe is mega-cute
It doesn't end there for George's scholarly wardrobe – he also has his very own sports uniform, which features a sweet sweatshirt, simple cotton t-shirt and tracksuit bottoms or shorts. The school even has its own cricket and swimming uniforms, too.

While the Prince's first day of Reception was captured by photographers last year, press have not been invited to cover this week's event. HELLO!'s royal correspondent Emily Nash explains: "Prince George's time at school is private and although the Duke and Duchess shared an image from his first day at primary school last year, they won't do it every year."
