Crown Princess Mary of Denmark went for something a little different for an appearance at the 2018 Design Awards in Copenhagen on Thursday night – doesn't she look gorgeous in her head-to-toe green top and trouser co-ord? It's certainly a departure from her usual choice of a full-length gown for an occasion like this – but we think she looks as elegant as ever. The long-line, weighty material gave the ensemble a really luxurious feel, worn with minimal accessories to keep the look ultra-modern.
We love Mary's chic co-ord
Mary opted to wear her hair in a contemporary style, too, choosing a more unique version of a classic half-up style by concealing her hair behind her ears – a look often seen on the catwalk and red carpet. She finished her ensemble with a pair of striking gemstone earrings, too, featuring rich regal tones of red, green and navy blue. Love.

The Princess actually found herself a little red-faced during the awards ceremony – accidentally dropping one of the prizes as she presented it to a winner. But, charming the crowds as ever, she simply laughed it off and didn't look fazed at all. Impressive!
She also scraped her hair behind her ears and wore statement earrings
The Danish royal is well-loved for her modern style, and is often compared to our very own Duchesses Meghan and Kate for their similar taste in clothes. Earlier this month, Mary's top and midi skirt ensemble reminded many of the Duchess of Sussex for its elegant boat neckline and black cut-out heels, while back in August, her pretty red midi dress and immaculate chignon updo wouldn't have looked out of place on Duchess Kate.
We could certainly see Meghan in an outfit like this, couldn't you? More royals in co-ords, please…
