Summer may officially be over, but that isn't making our favourite European royals put away the playful prints and floaty dresses. And Princess Victoria of Sweden proved its still possible to rock a gorgeously feminine look at the most serious of events when she delivered a speech on ocean sustainability to the General Assembly of the United Nations in New York wearing a bold floral frock. The pretty dress featured a high neckline with a distinctive collar and neck bow, long bell-style sleeves, and a midi-length skirt featuring an eye-catching ruffle trim.
This dress is just SO pretty
Its unusual print consisted of khaki and white polka dots, layered over the top with pretty orange and purple blooms. She wore her hair pulled back off her face in a neat bun and accessorised with a pair of simple cream court shoes, a matching handbag, and a pair of stud earrings. She kept her makeup fresh and natural.
The down-to-earth royal is known to be a fan of bargain high street fashion. last month she was spotted in a gorgeous evening dress by none other than H&M. She chose a dark floral fluted hem gown from last year's Erdem x H&M collection to hand out an award at the Stockholm Water Price Prize ceremony, of which she is a patron of. The range was an instant hit and promptly sold out after its launch in October 2017, as shoppers rushed to get their hands on the Canadian designer's first ever collaboration for the high street giant. Celebrities loved the line too, with Kate Bosworth photographed wearing the same dress as Princess Victoria.
Victoria is married to Prince Daniel of Sweden and they have two children, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar, together. Daniel was recently spotted chatting on his mobile, showing that he has a sweet personalised phone case that features a never-before-seen shot of his wife and two children, featuring Victoria with her arms around six-year-old Estelle and two-year-old Oscar. Aw!
