We hadn't seen the Duchess of Cornwall for other a month, so when she returned to official duties on Wednesday - paying a visit to Elphinstone Hall, Aberdeen - we were happy to see her back! The wife of Prince Charles was at the establishment to conduct a ceremony, where she introduced Professor George Boyne as the new principal and vice-chancellor at the University of Aberdeen. During the visit, the royal changed her outfit three times! As she arrived, she looked typically stylish wearing a fabulous grey dress coat which checked pockets and peter pan neckline. Then when she introduced the new professor, she donned an elaborate ceremonial dress made from black and gold. Afterwards, she took a trip to the University's School of Medicine, Medical Sciences and Nutrition department and dazzled in a white lab overcoat. Her hair and makeup stayed the same however - looking as immaculate as ever. Her icy blonde mane was coiffed to perfection in a voluminous style and subtle makeup highlighted her features.

The 71-year-old is chancellor of the university and also handed a honorary degree to Edward Stevenson, who worked in the university's biomedical physics department for more than four decades and supported the team that created the world's first clinical MRI scanner.

And lastly, the royal rocked a lab coat

The mother-of-two was also seen carrying an umbrella - and not just any old umbrella - but one made by Fulton. The company has a royal warrant and is the only umbrella that the Queen uses.

The iconic design has a see-through hood which proves very handy when the royals are out and about - the large transparent dome ensures they are visible to the public yet still fully protected from the rain.
