Our favourite royal ladies donned their glad rags this week for the state visit of American President Donald Trump and his wife Melania. There were breath-taking gowns, jewels, sashes and tiaras aplenty for us to ogle at as the Duchess of Cambridge, the Countess of Wessex and the Duchess of Cornwall attended the high-profile evening at Buckingham Palace. Elsewhere on the royal front, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice stepped out in beautiful frocks, as did Spain's Queen Letizia and the Netherland's Queen Maxima.
We adored Duchess Kate's heavenly white gown by designer Alexander McQueen. The wife of Prince William looks absolutely stunning in the photo above, pictured at the Buckingham Palace state banquet. It was a special evening for Kate as it was her first time wearing her new insignia as a Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order. Kate teamed her look with the Lover's Knot tiara and the Queen Mother's Sapphire and Diamond Fringe Earrings.
Take a look at all the elegant royal outfits below…
Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie
The royal sisters looked so pretty this week when they supported their father Prince Andrew at Horseguards Parade. Beatrice wore a navy and white shirt dress by Michael Kors, navy heels and a matching fascinator. While Eugenie chose a cheerful yellow lace dress by Maje.
Countess of Wessex
Sophie dazzled on Monday night at the state banquet in honour of the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump. The wife of Prince Edward wore an exquisite lilac gown by Brice Oldfield, along with the Anthemion tiara and a silver Anya Hindmarch clutch bag.
Queen Letizia of Spain
We always love Letizia's style and she treated us to two gorgeous looks again this week. Here's the Spanish royal in a cool navy outfit featuring a simple blouse and matching cropped trousers with sailoresque gold button detail.
Letizia shone in this fabulous red wrap dress on 1 June, while in Spain with her husband King Felipe VI. Her dress may well be our favourite outfit of the week, encompassing this season's top trend, the thigh-high split.
Duchess of Cornwall
We saw two wonderful ensembles on Camilla this week; first, an elegant cream Bruce Oldfield gown at the state banquet at Buckingham Palace. The royal added a glittering diamond Boucheron tiara, a pearl and rose topaz choker and diamond earrings.
Then, on Thursday, the wife of Prince Charles stepped out in this chic cream coat dress by the iconic Christian Dior, topped off with a hat by Phillip Tracy and a handbag by Launer London.
Queen Maxima of the Netherlands
Maxima is known for her flamboyant style and she wowed us in this unusual navy dress this week when she stepped out at The Hague. Maxima's dress features quirky cut-out sleeves with ruffle detail and white trim – a fun look for spring.
