The Duchess of Cambridge has worn some show-stopping outfits over the past decade. A style icon to so many, it's a mammoth task picking out her very best looks ahead of 2020, but we've whittled it down! Keep scrolling for a very stylish trip down memory lane...

We have to kick off with the stunning navy blue Issa 'Phylis' wrap dress that the Duchess wore back in 2010 when her engagement to Prince William was announced. The £575 design was a huge hit all over the world and it quickly sold out. Royals fans loved the fact it was made in the same blue as her engagement ring, which previously belonged to William's mother, Princess Diana.

Mere hours after giving birth to her first son Prince George in 2013, Kate looked radiant on the steps of the Lindo wing in a powder blue slip dress which was emblazoned with polka dots. The dress came from one of her favourite designers Jenny Packham and she added her favourite accessory - nude high heels.

When the Duchess wears something a little more daring, we get very excited indeed. In 2017, Kate arrived at London's Victoria & Albert museum wearing a mini tweed Gucci dress which was cut that little bit shorter than her regular dress lengths. It came complete with the brand’s signature Web trim in black and red and some gold statement buttons were added into the mix. The frock retailed at a cool £2000 and sold out immediately.

Kate headed to the Theatre Royal in 2017 for the West End premiere of 42nd Street. We were totally obsessed with her sheer, crimson Marchesa dress. Keeping it all the same colourway, she carried a maroon clutch and sported a pair of glittering Oscar de la Renta earrings.

Kate adores high-end label Erdem and jaws literally dropped in October 2018 when she headed to the V&A museum's new photography exhibit wearing a grey tweed dress by the brand that was cut slightly off-the-shoulder. She added maroon heels by Jimmy Choo, a box clutch and also rocked a pair of statement earrings.
