Dressing for the winter weather can be challenging, but keeping warm doesn't have to mean oversized jumpers. Queen Letizia proved that you can be just as glamorous at this time of year, and you don't have to keep refreshing your wardrobe to do so. As she was pictured arriving at La Zarzuela Palace in Madrid on 14 January, the Spanish royal rocked a pretty red and black outfit that she wore back in November 2019.
Never one to shy away from recycling her favourite clothes, Letizia, 47, wore a long-sleeved red blouse tucked into a black midi skirt by one of her favourite designers, Carolina Herrera. The A-line skirt featured large poppies printed across the front that tied in with the colour of her blouse. To finish off her statement outfit, she added a patent leather belt around her waist and a pair of slouchy black heeled boots.
Posing for pictures alongside some delegates of Spanish Film Distributors Federation - who were predominantly dressed in muted blues and blacks - the splash of red was the perfect outfit to command attention. King Felipe's wife's beauty look was as polished as ever, with her dark hair styled into glamorous blow-dried curls complemented by soft brown eye makeup and nude lips.

The royal clearly loves this outfit as much as we do, as she was spotted in it before Christmas. In November, Letizia wore the same blouse and skirt during a visit to Seville with her husband but made a few subtle changes by swapping out her cosy boots for patent red heels and adding a black cape jacket.
And the skirt is not the only Carolina Herrera item she has in her wardrobe! The mother-of-two has also worn a pastel blue knee-length skirt with box pleats and a dark blue floral print from the designers Pre-Fall 2015 collection on multiple occasions. So if you're looking for ways to restyle your winter wardrobe, the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex are not the only royals you should turn to for inspiration!
