On Tuesday, The Duchess of Edinburgh stepped out to open The Headley Court Veterans' Orthopaedic Centre at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Hospital in Shropshire. For the event, the royal assembled a dashing new look that exuded decadence while retaining her signature sophisticated touch.
The newly-appointed Duchess sported a suave white blazer with sleek notched lapels, a double-breasted cut, gold button detailing and a nipped-in waistline. She paired the pristine garment with a longline burgundy skirt to create the perfect colour contrast.
A smiling Duchess Sophie wore her blonde hair down loose in a half-up-half-down style and opted for a natural beauty blend complete with a bronzed smoky eye. She clasped a fawn-toned clutch bag boasting an envelope silhouette and gold hardware.
During her trip, the Duchess also attended a LEAF Teenage Research Event at Harper Adams University. She met with scrubs-clad staff as she toured the research area.
The mother-of-two's outing comes just days before she is due to have family time with her children, Lady Louise Windsor and the Earl of Wessex this Easter. While the royal family's plans for the spring holiday are yet to be confirmed, no doubt Prince Edward and Sophie will be among those to attend the Easter Sunday service.
Duchess Sophie has been all about structured looks as of late. Last month, she donned a navy blue midi dress when she attended a special Buckingham Palace reception.
Accompanied by her husband Prince Edward, Sophie wowed guests when she emerged in a striking number embellished with a giant bow, a dramatic outfit change from her elegant white ensemble she sported earlier in the day.
