The Duchess of Edinburgh is no stranger to an unrivalled style moment, and on Easter Sunday, the 58-year-old royal was the picture of elegance to attend the Easter Mattins Service at St. George's Chapel in Windsor.

Dressing to perfection, the newly-appointed Duchess donned a statement cranberry-hued coat and suede heeled boots. The royal elevated her spring ensemble with a fabulous titled top hat with an asymmetrical brim in a sandy shade, perfectly complementing her glowing complexion.

A beaming Duchess Sophie styled her blonde tresses into a neat half-up, half-down look, and opted for a natural beauty blend complete with a bronzed smoky eye.

No royal lady is seen without her handbag, of which the mother-of-two rocked a large envelope-style clutch in a caramel hue, completing her candy-coloured outfit with a dazzling pair of diamond earrings.

The Duchess of Edinburgh turned heads with her seriously statement headwear

The royal family were out in force on the grounds of the castle, enjoying the bright spring sunshine ahead of the first Easter Sunday service of King Charles’ reign.

It was likely to have been a moving moment for the royal family, with the 15th-century chapel being the late Queen’s final resting place and the Easter Sunday service the first to take place since her death.

Duchess Sophie's sartorial elegance has been all about structured looks as of late. Just last week, she stepped out wearing a suave white blazer with sleek notched lapels, a double-breasted cut, gold button detailing and a nipped-in waistline.

She paired the pristine garment with a longline burgundy skirt to create the perfect colour contrast.

Last month, she donned a navy blue midi dress when she attended a special Buckingham Palace reception.

Accompanied by her husband Prince Edward, Sophie wowed guests when she emerged in the striking number embellished with a giant bow, a dramatic outfit change from her elegant white ensemble she sported earlier that day.
