Queen Rania of Jordan's royal visit to Japan has brought with it plenty of stylish fashion moments, unsurprisingly.
The monarch looked beautiful in a pastel outfit from Australian designer Zimmermann during her meeting with Yuko Kishida, wife of the Prime Minister of Japan, on Tuesday – but she did make one alteration to her outfit.
Rania chose the elegant 'High Tide Flower Skirt', £995, and 'High Tide Flower Body Shirt', £650, for the important engagement – but made the decision to remove the ultra-feminine floral details from the neckline of the top, instead keeping it clean and simple.
It is also thought that the royal added another layer beneath her top, in order to avoid the sheer look as seen on the original design. The Jordanian Queen is well-known and admired for her fashion-forward approach to modest dressing, of course.
She shared a beautiful shot of her outfit as she posted a snippet from her day in Japan on Instagram, writing: "From my meeting with Mrs. Yuko Kishida, spouse of Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, in Tokyo today."
The post received plenty of compliments from royal fans, with one writing on her outfit: "Your dress is stunning!" and another adding: "Wowww gorgeous dress as usual."
Rania teamed her look with her Gabriela Hearst 'Demi' bag in white – a style also loved by the Duchess of Sussex – and also added a pair of pointed mesh pumps from Dior.
No doubt there will plenty more memorable outfits as Queen Rania continues her visit to Japan, though she also looked incredible in a tailored Alexandre Vaultier trouser suit for an engagement at The National Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo earlier on Tuesday.
With a nipped-in waist and bold broad shoulders, it was the ultimate royal power dressing moment – with cherry red Gianvito Rossi heels to complete the look, no less.
